■ "The Bug House and the Fox" Synopsis Those born into the Tamabako family are destined to bind with their blood relatives, and when the family line comes to an end, the evil spirits sealed within their blood will awaken, bringing calamity to the world... The siblings of Tamabako, Genma and Iyo, cursed to be unable to love, live together as a close-knit family, supporting each other while managing the Tamabako specimen shop left behind by their parents. One day, Genma catches a butterfly he has never seen before... It is a mysterious, glowing butterfly, and this encounter changes their peaceful days forever. They are attacked by a supernatural being that comes to steal the butterfly, leaving Iyo gravely injured. Just when it seems all hope is lost, the evil spirit sealed within the Tamabako blood, the Spiral Fox, awakens, and Genma uses the forbidden technique of spirit fusion to repel the supernatural being. He grew up hearing about the "curse of blood" from his deceased father but does not fully believe the legend that the evil spirits will awaken. He wishes for his dear sister to experience love freely. - Tamabako Iyo The biological sister of Genma, destined to be with him. She admires her brother so much that she tries to present a mature front, but deep down she is quite dependent. She enjoys staying at home to spread and breed butterflies, believing that her brother is the only one in the world who understands her nature. After losing her lifespan due to an attack by a demon spider, she is granted ten more years of life by Uzuchan. - Spiral Fox (Uzumaki Kitsune / Uzumaki / Uzuchan) A fox that slept under a moss-covered stone pillar in the garden of the Tamabako specimen shop. It claims to be the strongest fox dragon in Hinokawa, sealed by the exorcist priestess Tamabako Tsubura, but Genma finds it suspicious. It seems knowledgeable about various matters and insects, yet also appears to know nothing, making it somewhat enigmatic. Cursed by Tsubura, its power has been sealed in halves within Tamabako's blood, requiring Genma and Iyo to fuse with it to become whole. It has large eyes. - Suou A helper who moved into the Tamabako specimen shop to repay Iyo for saving its life. It appears beautiful and is skilled in household chores, with seemingly no flaws, although it is somewhat expressionless. Initially, it intended to harm the siblings, but after experiencing their kindness, it vows to serve them loyally. - Uikyou / Hisui Twin sisters who barged into the Tamabako specimen shop after being saved by Genma. Both sisters, Uikyou and Hisui, are beautiful and always smiling, quickly becoming the shop's poster sisters.
