"My name is Ken. My world is engulfed in flames and blood. Once, I was a taxi driver." ■ Game Content ■ Your girlfriend, Akari, has been kidnapped by bad guys. You finally manage to infiltrate their hideout, but you get caught and end up being restrained as well. Now, you are forced to participate in one of their twisted games: a combat buggy race—with Akari tied up behind your buggy... Unless you win the race, you can't get out of the vehicle, and of course, you can't rescue Akari either. The combat buggy race involves using rocket launchers, artillery, and landmines. To win the race, you need to attack your enemies. Naturally, you must avoid enemy fire, or Akari will be directly hit. In the top right corner, you can see the number of laps in the race and the remaining enemies. In the bottom right, you will find details of your weapons. You can pick up weapons during the race to attack enemies. The red flames signify landmines, which cause damage. The green flames increase your armor points (defense). Your initial life points and armor points are both set at 100, and a single attack from projectiles or landmines inflicts 100 damage. This means it takes two attacks (200 points) to take down one player (including yourself). The first person to cross the finish line wins, but you can also win by defeating all enemies.
