The protagonist, Theo, a fairy from the dreamland, becomes embroiled in the war and barely manages to escape into the human world. During this escape, Theo comes into possession of the "Pulchra Alma." This "Pulchra Alma" has another power that allows it to transform human girls and grant them strength. To save the dreamland, Theo sets out to find a human girl who will cooperate with him. In this quest, Theo meets a girl named Nana Oozora. Nana, who has a strong admiration for heroes, decides to throw herself into the war to help Theo. However, great power comes with a great cost. The war eventually engulfs the human world, and Nana's everyday life begins to crumble noisily. Conflicts, separations, and trauma arise.
