summary It is the early Heisei era, and Takumi Nakama is the caretaker of a rundown apartment building. He has nothing to do, failed the university entrance exam, and has no desire to retake the exam or look for a job. There were two young wives in the apartment that his parents had provided for him to live and work: Akemi Ushio, a tall and active woman who was cheerful and open-minded, and Shino Kumagaya, a refined and fastidious young lady who had grown up as a young lady. Takumi is teased, scorned, and played with by these beautiful but habitual married women. However, confined in a closed space, these women gradually break down due to their own problems and conflicts. By their side was a "younger landlord" who was naive, to the point, clumsy, and kind--and the girls were not the only ones to suffer from this.
