Taking a moment to reflect on my surroundings during this invaluable reunion, I begin to notice the subtle concerns of those around me. There’s my childhood friend who has supported me during my solitary life. A classmate whose occasionally seen shadowy face unexpectedly draws my attention. And my sister, whose smile reveals a warmth at our long-awaited reunion. The presence of these people has started to catch my interest more than usual.
