This is a short story depicting the journey of the protagonist's younger sister, Tsubame, until she joins as a companion in the Crystal Story. Tsubame is diligently training to become a full-fledged warrior. Set in the village of warriors, this story reveals another battle that was unfolding in secret, unknown to anyone! You can enjoy this story even if you haven't played the main game of Crystal Story. The narrative is linear, but the developments along the way can vary greatly depending on the player's actions. Whether to avoid events or fall into traps is entirely up to the player. --- Crystal Story Side Story: Awakening ver. 3.0 To commemorate the release of the main story "Crystal Story R," we have upgraded the side story "Awakening." New characters and new event scenes have been added, allowing for a deeper enjoyment of the story's world when played alongside the main story "Crystal Story R." Additionally, items that were previously difficult to obtain for collecting event scenes and bonus elements are now more accessible. --- Ver. 2.2 Additions - Two extra dungeons and three new event scenes have been added. - New characters, weapons, techniques, and enemies have been introduced. The newly added dungeons include low-level options that can be enjoyed right after starting the game, as well as high-level options that can be enjoyed during playthroughs of existing data. Both dungeons feature powerful rescue characters, so by adventuring together, you can level up and collect equipment, making it easier to tackle the main story. --- Ver. 2.3 Additions - The third extra dungeon, "Burnt World," has been added. - New guest characters, enemy characters, weapons, and event scenes have been introduced. - The card gacha and trade functions have been expanded.
