This was a grave injustice, but the humans remained unaware until the end. As a result of this incident, the relationship between the spirits and humans soured, friendships were severed, and the village continued to be afflicted by the Dark Poison. One hundred years later, the village, stripped of the shaman's power, was fully immersed in the Dark Poison and on the brink of destruction.
