This is the "Cat Fortune Shrine" located in a corner of Akihabara. It is a small shrine dedicated to two cats that are said to ward off misfortune and bring good luck. According to legend, these two cats played a significant role in the recovery of a town that was devastated by a great fire long ago. Although it is a shrine with a long and noble history spanning hundreds of years, the surrounding area has been developed, and the shrine has been left in a secluded alley, with no visitors for several years. One day, an incredibly unfortunate young man comes to visit this dilapidated shrine. Seeing the young man, who is a visitor for the first time in years and carries a lot of misfortune, two cat-eared girls dressed as shrine maidens appear to help him. The two cat-eared girls decide to live with the young man to help him rid himself of his misfortune, and thus— A slightly risqué and chaotic cohabitation begins between the unlucky young man and the two cat-eared shrine maidens!
