Although it is relatively underdeveloped in magic, it possesses abundant mineral resources and superb iron-making technology. The monsters not only cannot cross the steep mountains but are also deterred by the country's high-quality weapon manufacturing technology. Charlotte is a female knight working as a guard on the outskirts of the capital. Although the title of knight sounds impressive, she carries out her guard duties every day with a sense of boredom. One day, soldiers from the border guard, covered in injuries, burst into the capital. Upon questioning, it is revealed that the patrolling soldiers were ravaged during a battle with lower-level monsters. Subsequent discussions conclude that time-stopping monsters have begun to invade the kingdom.
