Prologue Liminal Horror is a non-class-based, rules-light TRPG that avoids a level system to enhance storytelling and deadliness. Players take on the role of explorers, navigating a modern world where terrifying and unknown entities lurk, seeking out the crossroads of the mundane and the uncanny. This work is designed as a hack of Yochai Gal's 'Cairn' (inspired by works like Into the Odd and Knave), incorporating a stress and fallout system that distorts characters as they draw closer to the abyss. This TRPG is aimed at players who enjoy horror, Junji Ito, and Call of Cthulhu (CoC). It provides a framework similar to a mystery novel, allowing for unique adventures. Additionally, it features a new system called "Doom Clock." Included is the introductory adventure "The Plague of Frogs."
