This work (VJ001416) "False Guru" is a full remake of the event CG and character illustrations in high resolution, with a complete overhaul of the compatible OS. ■Story The protagonist, an ordinary student, spent his days languidly. One day, he was approached by a strange duo at a shrine (?). It turns out that he shares the same name as the former guru, and he is said to be the reincarnation of that guru. "Oh, these are definitely people I shouldn't get close to..." the protagonist thinks as he attempts to flee. However, after being drugged and captured, he finds himself locked up in the cult's headquarters. Once he regains consciousness, he tries to escape, but despite the cult's waning influence, he finds it hard to resist the attractive offers of the new religious group. Moreover, he hears that lewd acts are justified in the name of "teaching"... Having experienced the "wonderfulness" of that "teaching" firsthand, the protagonist finally decides to claim the title of the second generation! ■Characters ● Yumemi Ishikura (CV: Yoko Morikawa) A girl who was hospitalized for a minor illness due to a quack doctor. When she was directly recruited by the guru (the protagonist) and visited the cult, she quickly recovered thanks to a prescription by Miki. However, she mistakenly believes that it is a result of her training, as per the guru's words, and decides to join the cult. With her inherently trusting nature, she diligently engages in "training" according to the guru's teachings. ● Wakana Shinozuka (CV: Himiko) A talented idol who lacks luck and support from her agency. Although she possesses above-average singing and dancing skills, she has yet to break through. After her concert following the release of a new single ends in failure, she is approached by the guru (the protagonist) and, feeling desperate, decides to visit the cult. Subsequently, she comes to believe that the success of the concert, attended by 300 cherry blossom supporters sent by the protagonist, is due to the power of faith, leading her to join the cult. She then dedicates herself to "training" to become a great idol... ● Akira Tsujizaki (CV: Sui Tsumugi) Yumemi's best friend. Upon hearing that Yumemi has fallen into a suspicious cult, she rushes to bring her back. After some back and forth, she initially retreats but later attempts to infiltrate the cult's headquarters at midnight to rescue Yumemi. However, she is quickly captured, and upon revealing that she lives alone, she is imprisoned. Thus, she finds herself forced into "training" under the guise of rehabilitation in the cult's basement... ● Akiko Mano (CV: Soyu Asazaki) A young lady from a well-known old family in the area. Perhaps due to being raised too sheltered, she has a naive side. After losing her beloved dog, she is in such deep sorrow that she cannot hear her family's attempts to console her, at which point she is recruited by the guru (the protagonist). She easily believes the claim that her grief is preventing her dog's soul from finding peace. Thus, she embarks on a special "training" to help her dog attain enlightenment... ● Kirie Kurisu (CV: Ten Ten) A nun working at a certain church. She is a kind-hearted woman who is also enthusiastic about volunteer activities. She is acquainted with Yumemi and Akira and comes to the cult to inquire about their whereabouts. However, she is presented with the condition of experiencing a trial membership to meet them, which she agrees to for their sake. As she undergoes the unique teachings of "love" espoused by the cult, which greatly differ from God's love, she begins to experience it firsthand... ● Miki Takatsu (CV: Karin Anroku) An executive who has served as the right hand of the former guru and has managed the cult. She has a background of working at a university hospital. She deeply reveres the "guru" and extends that admiration equally to the protagonist, who is the reincarnation of the previous guru. Serving the guru is her utmost joy, and she is actively involved in the cult's unique "training."
