■Story The ultimate disparity surrounds this planet—Earth. The gap between the rich and poor has widened to its extremes, and natural resources have long been depleted. On the devastated surface, humans can do nothing but gaze at the heavens and beg for blessings. No matter how much they pray, no helping hand will be extended. That is the logic of a world devoid of gods. However, in this world, there exists someone who extends a helping hand in place of the gods. A pure white celestial body floating in the sky, 'Caelum Urbs.' Known as the 'City in the Sky,' its inhabitants are referred to as 'Celestials.' Unlike the surface, Caelum Urbs has everything one could desire, and due to advancements in medical science, the concept of death has vanished for its residents. The people on the surface yearn to live in the heavens, and those who have made the Celestials their objects of faith say in unison: "Opportunities fall from the heavens..." —Opportunities. Among those who speak of the heavenly realm, there are rumors that circulate with great seriousness. It is said that by participating in a game called 'Closed GAME' held in Caelum Urbs, those who survive will become Celestials... The people on the surface continue to wait. For what will fall from above— ■Characters ●Celicia Lockhart (CV: Ryouko Tezuka) Celicia is the twin sister of Celine. With their parents having vanished, Celicia and Celine lived modestly in an orphanage. She carries two large revolvers at her hips and is known by the nickname 'Double Bull the Trigger,' excelling in rapid shooting. Invited by Sheriff George Mitchell, she participated in a quick-draw competition held at the office, achieving the remarkable feat of hitting all targets with 12 bullets in 1.2 seconds, earning her nickname. Perhaps tasting victory led her to become a bounty hunter against Tougo's wishes. By the way, Celicia has quite a poor sense of direction. 'Closed GAME' enjoys high viewership, and producer Michiko has gained immense support from the Celestials. He has cared for Celicia and Tougo since their time at the orphanage. Back then, he struggled to rehabilitate Celicia, who often caused problems, but their shared interest in 'guns' helped her to stop causing trouble. For Celicia, he is a benefactor. "I'll protect all of you, together." ●Tougo Magnaten The protagonist of this story. He grew up like a sibling with Celicia and Celine in the same orphanage. Tougo often took care of Celicia and Celine, knowing various aspects of their personalities and embarrassing stories, and whenever such topics arise, he is usually threatened with a gun by Celicia. He left the orphanage at 18 and now works at a local repair shop. Celicia often visits the shop, sharing casual conversations and her heroic tales before leaving, creating a routine.
