Rocking in an old bus, the exorcist shrine maiden, Shin-dō Isamu, visits the Takemori Shrine with the protagonist of this story, Ishidō Daitō. According to Yashiro Mamoru and Inori, the shrine maidens who welcomed them at Takemori Shrine, there have been frequent incidents believed to be caused by yokai. They were dispatched to investigate these occurrences, but suddenly, the youngest of the Oni Three Siblings, Himawari, who resides in a nearby ancient castle, appears and begins to accuse Ishidō of the crime of parricide. ◆◇◆ Kōkagura Additional Scenario ◆◇◆ One day, some time after that incident, Inori announced to everyone in a serious voice, "The hot water in the bath has stopped coming out..." Accepting that broken things cannot be helped, the group heads to the hot spring town of Iwakura Village at the foot of the mountain. Upon their arrival, they discover that the hot spring has turned into water as well. Mamoru feels that this is not a natural phenomenon, and Isamu speculates that there may be a disturbance in the spiritual veins. To investigate the disturbance in the spiritual veins, the exorcist shrine maiden and Ishidō head to the source of the spring, where they find a girl being attacked by a yokai. Upon seeing the rescued girl, Mamoru exclaims in surprise. She is... Mitarai Akari, a close friend from the hospital during her childhood.
