[Requests Accepted] [Liar-soft] 漆黒のシャルノス -What a beautiful tomorrow- Fullvoice ReBORN [VJ009935]
The steampunk series "Shikkoku no Sharunosu" is now fully voiced!! Of course, characters that had voice in the previous version are included, but now all characters that previously lacked voice have been fully voiced as well! That heart-stirring scene will be revived with voice! ■ Story The capital of the British Empire, London, is hailed as an unparalleled steam city. However, it is somewhat different from the London we know. The world has changed dramatically due to the industrial revolution. The extraordinarily advanced steam engines have evolved to not only serve as energy generation devices but have also given rise to highly sophisticated computational machines, airships, and massive flying ships. And in the early 20th century, humanity is thriving. Yet, people have lost something. The gray clouds generated by countless steam engines have obscured the blue that once spread across the sky, and people have forgotten the meaning of blue. But still. But still. Even if they have lost the sky, even if the gray clouds formed by the smoke produced by the engines cover it, even if the waste from the factories turns the Thames into a stagnant black, London, filled with mist and steam, remains beautiful── Every traveler who visits says so. Mary Clarissa Christie, a student living in a condominium by the Thames. She loved everything about London and, like everyone else, had no doubts about the advancements humanity would achieve through the Second Industrial Revolution, the engine revolution. Until that day, that moment. Yes, on that fateful day in October 1905. That night, in the darkness where the light of the street lamps could not reach, Mary met a man. A man clad in black. The black hand he extended invited Mary into the extraordinary. In other words, the "monsters" of fantasy, which were supposed to be "not believed by anyone," lurking in the darkness of the night, bared their fangs and began to attack innocent people, revealing the dark side of London that should not be loved. ──Into days where dreamy darkness and modest brilliance coexist. ■ Characters ● Mary Clarissa Christie (CV: Kawashi Marino) The protagonist and heroine. A girl with "golden eyes," known as fairy eyes. Since December of the previous year (1904), her right eye has transformed into a "golden eye" resembling that of a feline. She appears to be a well-bred and elegant lady── but in reality, she is strong-willed and tomboyish. She does not give up. A student at the Royal Academy of History in London. Her father, an explorer, passed away when she was young, and her mother works at a research institute across the sea, so she currently lives alone in a condominium. She is somewhat popular among male students but has no experience dating anyone yet. Her best friend, Shirley, says she has too high ideals. Her hobby is writing picture books, and she has started submitting them to publishers. Her role model is the genius female author Mary Shelley, who is rumored to share the same name and is still under 20. She was spending peaceful days in steam city London, but to help her friend Shirley, she contracts with "M" and gets involved in various incidents caused by the "Monsters (Meta-Creatures)." Specifically, she becomes "bait" to lure the "Monsters," running through the night in London while feeling crushed by fear. Like many citizens, she did not believe in the existence of "Monsters" at all, but her common sense is shattered by her encounter with "M." However, she does not succumb to madness; for the sake of her friends and herself, she confronts her fears head-on. No matter how much she screams. No matter how many tears she sheds. "Dear Mother, I have finally gotten used to living alone──" ● The M (CV: Koshiyuki Mitsuki) Real name unknown, commonly referred to as "M." Another protagonist. Cynical and destructive. A man in black. He always hides his right eye with an eye patch and wears a black coat. A mysterious figure who destroys the "Monsters" that appear in the darkness of steam city London using special equations. His favorite book is Alexandre Dumas' masterpiece "The Count of Monte Cristo." He is rumored to be the "Emperor of Crime reigning over the underworld," but in reality, he is a high-ranking agent of the massive organization "West India Company," which controls almost all darkness and knowledge in European and human civilization. Much of what earns him the title of "Emperor of Crime" is actually carried out by another individual in the organization known as "the Professor." His main purpose during his stay in London is to monitor Mary, who possesses the precious "golden eyes," and to destroy the "Monsters," which are believed to be products of fantasy. For "M," who has been granted all powers by the organization's leader, monitoring Mary is not originally part of his mission. However, he continues to observe her due to a strange obsession. "You have two choices given to you, kitten. Take my hand or die." ● Charlotte Brontë (CV: Nozuki Mahiru) The daughter of Lord Brontë, a wealthy man from Wales, and a student at the Royal Academy of History. Commonly known as Shirley. Mary's classmate and her best friend, sharing the same hobby of writing picture books. Compared to her peers Mary and Arshe, she has a calm demeanor and is intellectually gifted. She excels in her studies. As the daughter of a wealthy family, she appears in high society and is beautiful. Her personality and academic performance have made her an object of admiration among students of both genders. She has an interest in occultism and has become proficient in dowsing (pendulum) through self-study. Occasionally, she uses it to help Mary or Arshe find things. Her accuracy rate is about 80%. In 1905, she falls into a never-ending sleep due to an encounter with the "Monsters"── "Good day, you tomboyish Mary. Did you have another fight with a boy?" ● Colonel Moran (CV: Sakuragawa Mio) A person who appears to be in their 20s, likely female. Age unknown. Tall and always dressed in a tightly buttoned military uniform. An androgynous figure. A mechanical human modified by the secret society "West India Company," and a direct subordinate of "M." She follows him like a shadow. Silent and obedient only to "M," she carries out all his orders with certainty. Almost all of her body has been replaced with mechanical parts, granting her astonishing combat abilities. She can lift large rocks with her bare hands and force open iron doors. She could easily scatter a group of policemen or soldiers like mere wood. However, even so, she can only maintain combat mode against the "Monsters," who are enemies of "M," for a few minutes. She always carries a German-made pistol, and the bullets are filled with fragments of "green stone." "I will not allow anyone to harm my master." ● Arshelica Dales (CV: Kaneda Mahiru) One of Mary's close friends, a year younger. Commonly known as Arshe. The third daughter of the English noble Dales family. Somewhat childish, with a bright and lively personality. She is naturally charming and does not give off any unpleasant vibes. She is a first-year student in the mathematics department at the Royal Academy, excelling in her studies. Due to her family's decline from the upper class, she is on a scholarship. Despite her childlike appearance and behavior, she is fully aware of her family's serious financial situation and tries to act thoughtfully. Although she is a member of the nobility, she distances herself from high society by attending the Academy. She is in a publicly acknowledged relationship with Howard Phillips, an American exchange student attending Oxford University. They have established an engagement between themselves. Even after Shirley falls asleep, Arshe continues to maintain her friendship with Mary, to the point that Howard feels somewhat jealous. She loves watching and acting in plays, and one of her 33 future dreams is to become an "actress." "Good morning. How's your homework coming along? Not done, right?" ● Baron Munchausen (CV: Kojiro) Another "M." He appears to be in his 20s but is of unknown age. He covers the upper half of his face with an Eastern mask and wears flamboyant, exotic clothing. He claims to possess eternal life and is a master of alchemy, as well as a scholar of the terrifying "circuit" technology, being one of the highest-ranking members of the secret society "West India Company." He shows an abnormal obsession with the "Monsters" that appear in the darkness of London, whispering the end of all hope into "M"'s ear. He manipulates the secret society's arcane "circuit" technology to make various supernatural phenomena his own. "Oh, it's just a joke."
