■Story In a world where the heavens and the earth are separated, named 'Breshigland' in the sky and 'Gorutrock' on the ground, there was once an era of swords and magic in Gorutrock. It was a time when monsters roamed the plains, and various races such as humans, elves, and dwarves were still in conflict with each other. However, when the immortal king, exiled from the heavens, sought to plunge the world into darkness with his army of undead, all the races of Gorutrock united. Eight chosen heroes defeated the immortal king. It is said that the gods bestowed great glory upon these eight... —And then, two thousand years later. The Industrial Revolution occurred. Democracy rose, swords were replaced by guns, and magic fused with science. Monsters became endangered species and were protected. Elves and dwarves, who accepted human culture, forgot how to live in harmony with nature and adapted to cities filled with buildings made of stone and iron. Ocelot City is the most diverse city in the world. Among the eight heroes, Ingrid Voltenmeyer, a dragon-newt who can transform into a dragon, is particularly renowned. Land Voltenmeyer, a descendant known as the 'Mystic One' chosen by the gods, is also recognized as a remarkable figure representing the city. The protagonist, Rick Aroosmith, a half-elf, serves as a butler to Selma Voltenmeyer, Land's adopted daughter and heir to the Mystic One. Armed with the sentient magic gun, Vale Howter, he constantly protects his master from enemies while sometimes reflecting on her past. Selma, due to a certain incident, has become an incomplete dragon-newt, unable to take on a dragon form except for her wings, known derogatorily as a "Lacker" (a person lacking transformation ability). Since then, Rick has been deeply concerned for her, as she lives a cynical life. Nevertheless, the days spent surrounded by Selma, her friend Valeria Forster, and Valeria's butler, Yukitawara, could be called peaceful. However, when Land is assassinated by the Holy Council, who have harbored a grudge against the Mystic One since ancient times, Rick's, Selma's, and their small world begins to change dramatically. 登場キャラクター (Characters) ● Rick Aroosmith (CV: Tatsuya Hirai) The butler of the Voltenmeyer family. His twin brother is Alfred Aroosmith. He serves Selma under Land Voltenmeyer's command. Though he is often seen as a sweet man due to his gentle demeanor and polite speech, he is quite merciless towards adversaries (essentially, anyone who harms Selma). His parents have already passed away, and he has a complicated past. His beloved gun is a special magic gun called 'Black Plague Whistle' (Vale Howter), which possesses consciousness and can converse. ● Selma Voltenmeyer (CV: Nirin Samoto) She possesses 'Red Eyes' (Fleymar Nex). Commonly referred to as a "Lacker," she is a person lacking transformation ability. Her body cannot take on a dragon form, only spreading wings on her back. This has made her cynical, viewing the world with a jaded perspective, though she is a bit lonely. Since childhood, she has firmly believed that as a Lacker, she does not qualify as the heir to the Mystic One. ● Valeria Forster (CV: Nobu Kujou) She admires Selma and often visits the Voltenmeyer household. With a gentle and airy personality, she sometimes playfully quarrels with Selma. For some reason, she feels a bit guilty about her own happiness. ● Yukitawara (CV: Kanami Kono) Affiliated with 'Nameless'. Disguised as a man. A rare swordswoman in this day and age. An orphan, she was taken in by a lizardman named Galla La Redwood after a series of twists and turns. After graduating at the top of her class from 'White Hand Academy' (Forlen Soul), she was assigned as a butler to the Forster family. Bright, intelligent, mentally tough, and patient, she is extremely loyal to her master (Valeria). She holds Galla in deep respect and strives to live up to his name.
