■Story "This is a Town Where Angels Sleep" Every morning, a lullaby is offered so that the angels can sleep peacefully. The lullaby wakes the people, and a new day begins. This is the mysterious town of Mittebell. Not only angels but humans too can have strange dreams. Walking through the dreams of others, becoming one of the characters... Yatobari Tsubame has possessed such a power for some time and spends most of his days in sleep, wandering through other people's dreams. One day, he spots a girl by the window of an old Western-style mansion. The ethereal girl is beautiful, and Tsubame is captivated at first sight. He wants to know more about her. Driven by this desire, Tsubame inadvertently uses his ability on her, but it ends in failure. The girl, Kimihara Yua, tells Tsubame that she too possesses a mysterious power to see the dreams of others. However, she cannot choose which dreams to see. Instead, every night she is shown someone else's nightmares. Haunted by these nightmares, Yua has come to reject sleep. A girl who cannot sleep and a boy who wants to keep sleeping. When their dreams overlap, the legend begins to move once more. At the end of this journey lies a land of drowsiness where you and I shall fall. Characters ● Kimihara Yua (CV: Natsukawa Ko) A girl living alone in a mansion on the outskirts of town. She has a unique condition where other people's nightmares flood in when she sleeps. For nearly ten years, she has lived as a recluse, making various efforts to avoid sleep. In her attempts to stave off boredom, she becomes obsessively focused on things that pique her interest. She is a master at all types of games, to the point where no one can compete with her. Although she is shy and can be a bit sharp-tongued when she speaks, she is actually quite lonely. "I have a condition that attracts other people's nightmares." ● Takanashi Tsumugi (CV: Suzutani Maya) The protagonist’s childhood friend. She is like an older sister, always pulling the protagonist along and taking care of him. They have been in the same class since childhood, and it's not an exaggeration to say she knows the protagonist better than he knows himself. Occasionally, she makes surprising statements that seem to predict the future, leaving those around her astonished. She claims to have a woman's intuition. Due to the many unusual people around her, she often plays the role of the straight man. "I wonder what kind of deals you all are starting without me knowing?" ● Ainono Shiori (CV: Soyokaze Mirai) The protagonist's senior, a third-year student at the academy. She possesses a superhuman ability known as "Sleeping Princess," which allows her to engage in activities while sleeping. She is also the president of the Nap Club, with the slogan "Contributing to society while asleep." She can perform various actions—eating, cleaning, exercising, volunteering—at a level that surpasses ordinary people. She is mostly asleep, and it's rare for her to be awake. While she has strict criteria for new members of the Nap Club, her gentle personality always brings comfort to those around her. "We have just one requirement for joining our club. If you meet that, you can join anytime!" ● Mishiro Arisu (CV: Kanou Manaka) A girl who looks up to the protagonist like an older brother. She is bright, positive, and kind to everyone, making her beloved by those around her. She is hard-working and has a strong will, refusing to give up on things she doesn't want to leave undone, no matter how difficult it may be. While she dreams of becoming an idol, she is notoriously tone-deaf. It is said that her singing voice can make people forget their memories. Every morning, she appears at the clock tower that plays lullabies for the town. "Did you instantly recognize my star potential? You're quite impressive, big brother!" ● Ijuuin Kimika (CV: Mizuno Nanami) A classmate of the protagonist. She is a high-class girl with a strong sense of pride. Although she can be haughty and has strong opinions, she has a kind heart at her core. For some reason, she firmly believes that she is the angel from the legend and often proclaims this to those around her, leaving them exasperated. Surprisingly, she has a weak mental state.
