Due to the recent decline in birth rates, both academies have merged and been reborn as "Sousei Zouma Academy." However, they remain like oil and water. Under one roof, the rivalry intensifies, and the discord between the heads of both academies deepens the conflict. In such an academy, the protagonist, who has been forced into rigorous training to become a demon lord by his father since childhood, transfers in. The battle between heroes and demon lords, each fighting for their honor, now begins. Characters ● Mana Onose (CV: Hana Kiriyama) A second-year student in the Hero Department of the Heroic Club. She is a girl with a strong sense of justice who hates anything crooked. Her potential as a hero is extremely high, earning her immense trust from both students and teachers as the top elite at Sousei Academy. Naturally, she views evil and demon lords as enemies, frequently clashing with her greatest rival, Kirie. She initially confronts the protagonist, who transferred in as a candidate for demon lord, but after learning the circumstances, she encourages him to become a hero, recognizing his abilities. ● Kirie Kuroki (CV: Yukari Aoyama) A second-year student in the Dark Knight Department of the Demon Swordsmanship Club. She entered Zouma Academy simply because she thought being evil would be easier, making her a somewhat cool girl who doesn't think deeply about things. She finds Mana's constant emphasis on justice annoying, and their unnecessary exchanges often lead to fierce fights that have become a school tradition. She is said to be the top in Zouma Academy, on par with Mana, but rarely takes the initiative to start things and seldom goes all out. She becomes interested in the protagonist, who transferred into the Demon Lord Department, and advises him that as a demon lord, he should embrace the path of evil. ● Mikaru Kamoi (CV: Koori Natsuno) A first-year student in the Magic Department of the Sage Course. She is the protagonist's stepsister and is very fond of him. In contrast to her brother, who is a candidate for demon lord, she is being raised to become a future hero and belongs to a different department in the academy, but she often visits him regardless. Her gentle nature makes her dislike conflicts, so she doesn't mind the rivalry between heroes and demon lords, and she gets along very well with Hibiki, who is in the Demon World Sorcerer Course in the same grade. She seems to possess a special ability that can trigger unpredictable and immense situations when activated. ● Hibiki Kagami (CV: Mio Sakuragawa) A first-year student in the Wizard Department of the Demon World Sorcerer Course. She is difficult to read but possesses magical skills that surpass even Mana and Kirie. She enjoys reading and has a high level of basic knowledge. Despite that, she has a playful side and sometimes experiments with seemingly pointless magic. If her skills are properly utilized, she could be a reliable ally in times of crisis. She often spends time alone but gradually starts interacting with the protagonist, whom she finds interesting. As a result, she becomes his only true friend. ● Karin Otsuki (CV: Soyogi Tohno) A third-year student in the Holy Knight Department of the Warrior Course. She is generally reliable but has a somewhat absent-minded side, making her a gentle older sister figure. Her calm demeanor remains unshaken no matter what happens. Despite her gentle appearance, she possesses immense strength, able to lift safes and lockers with one hand. Raised in a strict household, she has a bizarre family rule that if a man other than her family sees her naked, she must either marry him or kill him. The protagonist inadvertently becomes the target of this rule due to an accident, leading to daily situations where Karin seeks answers while the protagonist tries to evade her.
