However, due to certain circumstances, our school was put on indefinite closure, almost turning into a deserted school, and the school building was taken over by the Ground Self-Defense Force. Then came the students from the Ground Self-Defense Force Women's Engineering School. Unit name: 0th Education Battalion, 2nd Division. All members are female. Out of curiosity, I felt a bit interested, but I disliked anything dangerous. So, I had no intention of getting involved, yet somehow, I ended up being incorporated into that 0th Education Battalion, 2nd Division... This is a story about how my otherwise mundane daily life gradually begins to change. ——What can I do for that person who will eventually head to the battlefield? ■Characters ● Mashiro Munakata (CV: Choko Moeka) A second-year student at the Ground Self-Defense Force Women's Engineering School. Rank: Private Second Class. She appears to be a diligent person who always uses polite language, but in reality, she is a scatterbrained clumsy girl. It’s not uncommon for her to make frequent misunderstandings or mess up during training. Although she is trusted for her earnest and caring personality, she is a girl full of gaps due to her clumsiness. ● Shino Kazematsuri (CV: Aoi Shirayuki) A second-year student at the Ground Self-Defense Force Women's Engineering School. Rank: Private Second Class. An honor student who excels academically and in training, but has a prickly attitude and always wears a serious expression, often becoming emotional over trivial matters. However, she shows signs of regret after arguments and has a candid side where she admits her faults and apologizes. Unlike Mashiro, she is always on guard, but what happens if she lets her guard down...? ● Renka Nanami (CV: Miru) A first-year student at the Ground Self-Defense Force Women's Engineering School. Rank: Private Third Class. As the only first-year student, she shows some hesitation, but at times, she lets out sharp remarks or speaks her mind to her seniors, showing a surprising level of courage. She has somewhat unusual sexual preferences, and even when faced with tough training that everyone dreads, she blushes with delight. To put it positively, she's stoic; negatively, she might be a masochist. While there is a significant gap in abilities compared to her seniors in the 0th Education Battalion, she might be the girl with the strongest personality. ● Sayoko Takaoto (CV: Marino Kawashi) A third-year student at the Ground Self-Defense Force Women's Engineering School. Rank: Private First Class. Her military skills, particularly in handling firearms and combat techniques—especially exoskeletons—are a cut above the other students. She always appears calm and has a gentle demeanor, but there are many mysteries surrounding her actions, such as showing signs of knowing Ayato from before or treating him specially. ● Tamaki Komiya (CV: Mio Sakuragawa) The squad leader of the 0th Education Battalion, 2nd Division. Rank: Corporal Second Class. Originally a mechanic, she possesses outstanding physical abilities and combat skills, and nearly all combat training in the 0th Education Battalion is led by Tamaki. However, she is not as strict as a drill sergeant; she is a friendly woman with a constant smile, making her well-liked by the students. Though, her occasional playful pranks can be a bit heart-stopping. ● Ayato Himori A regular student living in a rural town. Second-year. Due to his mother’s work, he lives a near solitary life and is skilled in household chores. He also has a unique hobby of "pseudo-survival," often going to the mountains to camp and procure food locally. He has a straightforward and friendly personality, but sometimes acts without thinking deeply when he gets an idea, leading his friends to often sigh and say, "He’s calm, but surprisingly a problem child."
