■Story At the ordinary educational institution "Renma Academy," there exists a club that is viewed with curiosity by the general student body. This club is called the "Renma Appreciation Society." A timid boy with a strong interest in younger boys, Utena Hoshimi, is forcibly made to join the club just to meet the membership quota. However, after discovering a fallen meteor nearby, he becomes embroiled in a conflict with aliens. Upon encountering a female alien spy at the meteor's landing site, Utena inadvertently absorbs her into himself. From that point on, he becomes the target of aliens trying to retrieve the female spy within him. The ones who come to his rescue are the members of the appreciation society, who he thought were just ordinary girls but turned out to be quite unique. ■Characters ● Haruka Nakamura The protagonist's childhood friend. She is kind-hearted, gentle, and embodies a nurturing spirit. Additionally, she is regarded as the "most desirable girlfriend at Renma Academy," making her somewhat intimidating due to her beauty. However, her natural clumsiness often leads to misunderstandings, causing her to misinterpret confessions and respond in a surprisingly blunt manner. But is her warmth truly just a natural trait? ● Takano Minatanaka The protagonist's childhood friend. She has a strong personality and possesses excellent leadership skills, giving her an impression of being a "responsible older sister" even among her peers. She is deeply in love with Utena and cannot help but take care of him. ● Ei Oizumi A person who values their own world over others' thoughts and struggles with communication. Due to being overly intelligent, they often come off as condescending in conversations. Though accustomed to solitude, they don't particularly enjoy being alone and always wish for companions. However, their lack of courage prevents them from involving others. ● Sheryl Blossom Hughes Nicknamed "Cherry." She appears to be endlessly cheerful and somewhat reckless, but she can make calm judgments when necessary. However, she loses her composure when dealing with aliens. She loves festivals and is always eager to host parties and celebrations. Growing up, her sister read her stories about animals and nature, which fostered her love for both. ● Hikaru Hayamiya Having grown up in harsh conditions, she is the most mature among the group. She can think things through and view situations from a calm perspective. She belongs to a clan that protects Renma. This clan governs the will of Renma and acts as its shadow, serving as its backbone. The reason the appreciation society can get away with their antics is that Hikaru negotiates behind the scenes, silencing Renma's politicians and power players.
