■□■Story■□■ "I want to have a memorable graduation ceremony. I want to warmly send off the people who have taken care of me." On the day he returned to Japan after five years, Shinya Hino meets a girl named Minato Mizuki, who speaks with shining eyes. She is a girl who works hard for others, but often struggles to balance her ideals and efforts. Feeling sympathetic, Shinya decides to help with the graduation ceremony committee. However, having lived abroad for so long, Shinya has never actually attended a graduation ceremony and has no idea how to make it happen. Thus, he involves his classmates, friends from clubs, and even acquaintances from the third year to help organize the ceremony. Gradually, members of the graduation ceremony committee start to gather. Chloe is invited by her best friend. Rin is ordered by her senior from the club. Mariko is involved as a third-year student who will be sent off. They operate the graduation ceremony committee from their respective positions. Initially, those who opposed the idea gradually become inspired by Minato's passion and kindness, and eventually, that feeling spreads throughout the school... ### Characters - **Minato Mizuki** (CV: Sakura Hanazawa) A second-year student belonging to the student council. Recognized for her hard work, she is appointed as the chairperson of the graduation ceremony committee. She is cheerful, hardworking, and kind, but tends to overdo things on her own and often feels like she is spinning her wheels. She loves fashion and often buys fashion magazines to indulge in her fantasies. When she is stressed, she sometimes retreats to her room for a solo fashion show, though she keeps this a secret from others. "I want to send off the seniors who have taken care of me in a grand way. I want the graduation ceremony to make everyone think, 'I'm glad I came to this school.'" - **Chloe** (CV: Ruka Momotachi) Real name: Cloris Christopher Tachibana. A half-Japanese girl born to a British father and a mother from Kyoto. Contrary to her appearance, she cannot speak English at all and actually struggles with it. She is shy and tends not to open up to anyone except her best friend, Riko. Due to past experiences of being teased by male classmates in elementary school, she has developed a fear of men and can become teary-eyed just from being approached by one. Although she has calmed down quite a bit now, she still doesn't actively engage in conversation with anyone other than those she is close to. Nevertheless, she sometimes says things that hit hard, showing her qualities as a Kyoto girl. She prefers bread for breakfast but has been somewhat forced to eat Japanese food since the snow came, leading to a heavy feeling in her stomach in the mornings. She enjoys coffee, particularly black, but often hears that it doesn't suit her, which makes her sulk. "Ugh, please forgive me. I'm really bad with meeting new people and guys." - **Rin Kitami** (CV: Mei Hanazono) A classmate of Yuki and a tennis sports scholarship student. However, she has not been able to produce clear results since enrolling, leading to feelings of anxiety. She is competitive and has a stubbornness that makes her argue even with seniors if she cannot accept something. However, once she acknowledges someone, she places her full trust in them. Thanks to having a younger sister and brother, she is caring, but this has made her unaware of how to ask for help, often leading her to adopt a stricter attitude or act tough. Her family runs a small factory. "Call me whatever you like. But I absolutely won't allow the nickname 'Mirin.'" - **Mariko Tomari** (CV: Ion Momoyama) An older girl who lived next door to Shinya and is one year his senior. She is caring, kind, beautiful, and has been top of her class for two consecutive years. She is also skilled at housework, making her a woman admired by everyone. However, due to certain circumstances, she has nearly taken a leave of absence for a semester and is at risk of repeating the year. Nevertheless, her strong-willed nature allows her to stay positive and enjoy school life without becoming discouraged. Surprisingly competitive and reluctant to show weakness, she tends to push herself, which worries those close to her. She is a distant relative of the Hino family, but they are so distantly related that neither party is particularly aware of it. "Oh? Is today some kind of meeting to praise me? Hehe, don't flatter me too much; I can only teach you about studying." - **Ren Wakiike** (CV: Yui Kusuhara) Shinya's class's vice homeroom teacher, teaching mathematics. A fresh graduate who has just started teaching and is currently learning various things under Yayoi. In secret, she is a hardcore gamer. During her days off, she competes with players from around the world using her custom-built PC. Recently, her favorite game has been a TPS game where players compete for territory using ink on a console. However, she often gets caught up in kill actions due to her usual habits. "If I can identify the cause, I will address it. This is the only way to improve. Whether it's increasing aiming accuracy or diligently leveling up, we must work hard." - **Shinya Hino** The protagonist of the story, who returns to Japan for the first time in five years to accompany his homesick sister. However, since he has transferred to a school that is not his hometown, he feels a lack of connection to the place. He is friendly and dislikes conflict, but due to certain reasons, he has been handcuffed in America. However, considering the circumstances, he was able to have his criminal record waived through 60 days of volunteer work. Due to differences in the education systems between Japan and the U.S., he has never attended a graduation ceremony as a graduate. "As for rewards, I've received enough. A girl's smile is the best reward of all."
