My Freedom Research." ■□■ Story ■□■ At the beginning of summer vacation, three girls from the same group as Koudai Yamakawa gathered at school to discuss their group research project. Koudai had a proposal, but no one paid him any attention. Setting aside Koudai, one of the girls, Jasmine Kashiro, suggested that they tackle the topic of SEX, something no one in the class had experienced, and propose to practice it for their presentation. The girls felt a thrill, but Koudai showed no interest at all. So, he revealed an old scroll he had brought with him. Koudai had stumbled upon the scroll at home, and it was related to the legend of the "Naked God" that he had heard from his grandfather. It was said that if they gathered all the spirits of this god scattered throughout the town, "any wish would be granted." Everyone was taken aback by this absurd idea, even more so than the topic of SEX, but for some reason, Jasmine showed interest, and they finally decided to go on a quest for the spirits. As the girls were eager to start, Koudai shared a condition for gathering the spirits... "You must approach the Naked God in the nude. Otherwise, your wishes won't be granted." Thus, the four of them, with the scroll that indicated where the spirits were located, set off "nude" to various places in the city. In the scorching summer sun, these naked boys and girls ran around the town, completely exposed. But wouldn't something happen while they did such a thing in the nude? The girls seemed to be interested in SEX, and what about Koudai...!? A grand summer adventure involving their homeroom teacher and families was about to unfold. ■□■ Characters ■□■ ● Jasmine Kashiro One of the three girls in Koudai's class and group. She cannot stand not being the center of attention and makes all the rules for the group herself. She proposed the incredible idea of doing SEX, something no one in the class has experienced, for their summer research project. "You guys are such cowards. You don't even have the courage to walk around town naked! What a bunch of wimps!" ● Shizuka Asakura A girl in Koudai's class who rarely attends due to illness. A shy, genuine lady. Luckily, her naivety allows her to join Koudai and the others. She is tall and the most developed among the girls. "Yeah. I want to take pictures with everyone, not just by myself." ● Akari Kurusu Another one of the three girls. A bespectacled girl. She is intelligent and ranks high in class academically. While she doesn't have as much of a desire for self-promotion as Jasmine, she has leadership qualities, which often leads to clashes between the two. "Appear? What does that mean? This is getting more and more like a comic. There's no way something like that could happen in reality." ● Kazumi Minamo The third girl in the group. She excels in sports, especially running faster than the boys. Among the trio, she has the most mature personality, often becoming the mediator between Jasmine and Akari during their arguments, though it doesn't always go well. She has younger twin sisters and is a relative of Koudai. "Geez. It's because Koudai won't apologize that Jasmine is acting up. Look!" ● Yuko Konno Koudai's homeroom teacher. A new teacher who is beautiful and popular among her students. She is surprised to learn about Koudai and the others' research topic but is invited to join in. She has a nurturing personality but is easily overwhelmed. "W-w-wait, Yamakawa-kun. Please stop saying things like that!" ● Kumi Yamakawa Koudai's older sister. A typical modern schoolgirl who takes her life at an all-girls school for granted. She finds her overly energetic younger brother a bit annoying. She hints that she knows about the Naked God... "You were wandering around naked again, weren't you? You need to cut it out already!" ● Koudai Yamakawa The protagonist. He loves insects and is known as the insect expert in class. Currently a believer in the Naked God. His personality is straightforward, but he acts foolishly in front of girls. He always feels inferior to the trio and tries to earn their recognition through the Naked God research (spirit collection). Influenced by his sister, he unconsciously feels that he cannot compete with women. His foolish actions stem from this, though he is unaware of it. He is treated as a "dog" by the three girls. "I'm totally fine with it; I've walked home naked from the river before."
