A 16-year-old girl, Kudan Sakuya, meets a cooking class instructor named Shima Toko through a strange fate— and as they interact, she begins to develop a faint affection for her. However, when Toko sees the Kudan, her once peaceful daily life starts to unravel. The Kudan approaches them moment by moment. Sakuya rushes to protect her and seeks means to counter it.
