■Story The protagonist, Kurogane Kuon, appears to be an ordinary female student, but she has an extraordinary side: she is a descendant of onmyoji (Japanese practitioners of esoteric cosmology) and works alongside her father, Kōhiro, to exorcise evil spirits. One day, three individuals arrive at Kuon's place: the sisters Shindō Setsuna and Yūka, who are exorcising evil spirits in another region, along with their childhood friend, Kitagawa Tōma. They claim that recent disappearances of young women in the town are linked to evil spirits and offer their assistance in solving the case. While Kuon and her group gather information by exorcising the evil spirits that are haunting the town, Kōhiro decides to meet an acquaintance who is believed to have valuable information. However, during this time, both Setsuna and Yūka are captured by enemies, and Kōhiro becomes incapacitated. Upon discovering that there is an organization secretly leading the evil spirits, Kuon resolves to confront them in order to save her father and Setsuna. What awaits them at the end of this battle...? ■Characters ● Kurogane Kuon (CV: Yuzuki Sena) A first-year student at the academy. An onmyoji apprentice. Born into a family of onmyoji for generations, she is currently training to become one herself. Her mother passed away when she was born, and she lives with her father. Together with Kōhiro, she exorcises evil spirits, using her homemade talismans in battle. She strives to excel in both academics and athletics, maintaining high grades and physical fitness. Although she may seem cool and composed, she is actually shy and struggles to express her emotions. Household chores are divided between her and her father, but since Kōhiro's cooking is far from delicious, Kuon usually handles the cooking duties. ● Shindō Setsuna (CV: Yuki Minase) A second-year student at the academy. An aspiring sister. She transferred to the academy where Kuon studies. While training to become a sister, she also works as an exorcist. Her skills as an exorcist are highly regarded among her peers. Having practiced martial arts since childhood, she is skilled enough to serve as an instructor at a young age. She has a bright and cheerful personality, easily getting along with most people. In a previous battle, she and her sister Yūka were impregnated by a demon, but with the help of Tōma and Yūka, they defeated the enemy and returned to their normal lives. ● Shindō Yūka (CV: Mitsuka Kawamura) A sister. Setsuna's older sister. In addition to her work as a sister, she also acts as an exorcist, exorcising demons alongside Setsuna. Like her gentle appearance, her personality is calm and laid-back, but her power as an exorcist is strong, and she has exorcised many demons with Setsuna. At one point, she was captured and forced to bear the children of demons, but she was rescued by Setsuna and Tōma and managed to regain her normal life. However, she is still not fully recovered and has not yet returned to her full duties as an exorcist, currently focusing on supporting Setsuna and Tōma. ● Kitagawa Tōma A second-year student at the academy. A childhood friend of Setsuna and Yūka. He has a gentle personality and dislikes unnecessary conflict, but he has trained in martial arts alongside Setsuna since childhood, making him equally skilled. Although he does not have the power to exorcise demons, he supports Setsuna and the others with his martial arts skills. He moved in with Setsuna and Yūka and currently lives in the neighboring room. He is aware of Setsuna as a woman, but there has been no progress in their relationship. ● Kurogane Kōhiro Kuon's father. An onmyoji. Born into a long line of onmyoji, he continues the family tradition. He typically works as a writer. His family has developed a unique approach to onmyoji practices, primarily focusing on exorcising evil spirits in modern times. He dotes on his only daughter, Kuon, and is strict in his training to help her become a capable onmyoji. However, he sometimes questions whether it is truly right for Kuon to be involved in exorcising evil spirits.
