**Story** About a hundred years ago, in the year 1921. In the midst of a dazzling and tumultuous era that takes your breath away. The protagonist, Rin Yamashina, is a kabuki actor who excels as a onnagata (female impersonator). However, he experiences a significant setback during a certain performance. Yet, upon encountering a blonde girl by chance, he finds hope in her words. Determined to hone his skills and return to the stage one day, he transfers to a girls' school where his benefactor serves as the principal, changing his name to "Rin Tōban." At the girls' school, he is welcomed into the vibrant world he has never experienced before, filled with daughters of noble families and Western exchange students. Thanks to the principal's arrangement, Rin is welcomed as one of the five maidens representing the "Eikakai." Moreover, he ends up living under the same roof with the daughters of the Eikakai, including the blonde girl, Chris, who saved him. Eventually, Rin, who knows nothing of the situation, learns what is expected of the Eikakai. The girls' school is currently caught in the midst of a conflict between Japan and the West. To resolve this, an election will soon be held to determine the sole maiden, the "Nadeshiko no Kimi," who will stand at the top. The candidates for this election are the five members of the Eikakai, including Rin.
